Burn, third degree (health)


A burn in which the damage has progressed to the point of skin death. The skin is white and without sensation.





Nominal Damages (law)




A situation where the court awards a small amount of money to a plaintiff because they were wronged but there is no injury that merits compensation, an example is where someone may of be bruised but the bruise was just painful and in no way debilitating or having any medical expenses associated with it.
