An inherited disorder of collagen which takes several forms. Premature osteoarthritis, blue sclerae, hypermobility and bone fragility may be features of the condition.

<cell biology> An encapsulated sensory nerve ending similar to a pacinian corpuscle but simpler in structure.

Tactile corpuscles found in the subcutaneous tissue of the fingertips, resembling pacinian corpuscles, but possessing fewer lamellae and a relatively larger cone, and having the contained fibres more extensively branched.
