Moreton Bay chestnut a leguminous tree, Castanospermum australe, with racemes of yellow flowers and large woody pods (cf. black bean (b) s.v. BLACK adjective). Moreton Bay fig a fig tree, Ficus macrophylla, with large glossy leaves, often planted for shade in Australia. Moreton Bay pine the hoop pine, Araucaria cunninghamii.
