(+)-alpha-4-(dimethylamino)-3-methyl-1,2-diphenyl-2-butanol propionate hydrochloride;a nonantipyretic, orally effective weak narcotic analgesic structurally related to methadone and used for the relief of mild to moderate pain; it is less effective than codeine.
