Cherry Flan (recipes)


Cherry Flan

Cook Time: 3-1/2 to 4 hours

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Yield: Makes 6 servings



Ingredients:



5eggs

1/2cup sugar

1/2teaspoon salt

3/4cup all-purpose flour

1can (12 ounces) evaporated milk

1teaspoon vanilla extract

1bag (16 ounces) frozen, pitted dark sweet cherries, thawed

Sweetened whipped cream or cherry vanilla ice cream









Preparation:





1.Grease inside of slow cooker. 2.Beat eggs, sugar and salt in large bowl of electric mixer at high speed until thick and pale yellow. Add flour; beat until smooth. Beat in evaporated milk and vanilla.3.Pour batter into prepared slow cooker. Place cherries evenly over batter. Cover; cook on LOW 3-1/2 to 4 hours or until flan is set. Serve warm with whipped cream.







Serving Suggestion:

Serve this dessert warm and top it with whipped cream or ice cream. Garnish with cherries and mint leaves for a special touch.
