[Dutch & German (see MORN), app. meaning 'the area of land that can be ploughed in a morning'.]
A measure of land in the Netherlands and South Africa (and hence in parts of the US), equal to about 0.8 hectare or two acres. Also, in Norway, Denmark, and Germany, a measure of land now equal to about 0.3 hectare or two-thirds of an acre.
