[Old French mo(u)lture (mod. mouture) from medieval Latin molitura, from molit- pa. ppl stem of molere grind: see MILL noun1, -URE.]
A toll of grain or flour payable to the proprietor or tenant of a mill in return for grinding corn. Also, the right to exact this toll.
