Turkey Fajitas (recipes)


Turkey Fajitas

Yield: Makes 4 servings



Ingredients:



1/2cup sliced green onions

1/2cup lemon juice

1/2cup honey

1/2cup warm water

3tablespoons vegetable oil

1clove garlic, minced

1(1-pound) package turkey breast slices, cut into 2X3/4-inch strips

1medium yellow or green bell pepper, cut into strips

1medium tomato, chopped

1/2cup chopped fresh cilantro

4(8-inch) flour tortillas

Picante sauce









Preparation:





1.Combine green onions, lemon juice, honey and water in small bowl; set aside. Heat oil and garlic in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add turkey; cook and stir for 2 minutes. Add pepper strips and lemon juice mixture; continue to cook and stir until liquid evaporates and turkey is golden brown. Stir in tomato and cilantro. Spoon mixture onto tortillas. Fold in half or roll up. Serve with picante sauce.
