Dark red-brown or mahogany-coloured granular material that occurs in human faeces in tropical regions; it yields a chemical reaction similar to that of urobilinogen and is composed of calcium oxide, iron, phosphoric and carbonic acids, urobilinogen, cholerythrogen, and Other organic matter in varying proportions.
