The milt of a fish. Only in LME.
collect. & in pl. The minute eggs of fishes and various other oviparous animals (chiefly aquatic or amphibian), usually extruded in large numbers and forming a more or less coherent or gelatinous mass; the very young brood hatched from such eggs. L15.
