RIX DOLLAR (law)


RIX DOLLAR. The name of a coin. The rix dollar of Bremen, is deemed as money of account, at the custom-house, to be of the value of seventy-eight and of account, at the custom-house, to be of the value of seventy-eight and three quarters cents. It flows west from the mountains of Madhya Pradesh to the Gulf of Khambhat and the Arabian Sea. It is about 435 mi (700 km) long and largely unnavigable.
