SUSPENSION, eccl. law. An ecclesiastical censure, by which a spiritual person is either interdicted tho Exercise of his ecclesiastical function, or person is either interdicted tho Exercise of his ecclesiastical function, or hindered from receiving the profits of his benefice. It may be partial or hindered from receiving the profits of his benefice.
