<chemical> A semisynthetic penicillanase-resistant penicillin, used primarily in the treatment of infections to penicillinase-resistant staphylococci.

Pharmacological action: penicillins.

Chemical name: 4-Thia-1-azabicyclo(3.2.0)heptane-2-carboxylic acid, 3,3-dimethyl-6-(((5-methyl-3-phenyl-4-isoxazolyl)carbonyl)amino)-7-oxo-, (2S-(2alpha,5alpha,6beta))-
