Mustard-Pepper Biscuit Ring

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Yield: Makes 14 biscuits



Ingredients:



2cups all-purpose flour

1tablespoon Baking powder

1teaspoon sugar

3/4teaspoon black pepper

1/2teaspoon salt

1/8teaspoon garlic powder

3tablespoons cold butter or margarine

3/4cup fat-free (skim) milk

2tablespoons Dijon mustard









Preparation:





1.Preheat oven to 450°F. Lightly spray large Baking sheet with nonstick Cooking spray.2.Combine flour, Baking powder, sugar, pepper, salt and garlic powder in medium bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender or two knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.3.Whisk together milk and mustard in small bowl. Add to flour mixture; stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 1 inch apart on prepared Baking sheet. Bake about 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan to wire rack.
