The angle between the heart and the diaphragm at either lateral end of the cardiac projection on imaging (usually the chest X-ray Film). The right cardiophrenic angle is normally indistinguishable from the cardiohepatic angle radiographically.

Synonym: cardiodiaphragmatic angle, phrenopericardial angle.
