Periodic pain in any region of the face, teeth, tongue, and occasionally in the occipital or shoulder area, which lasts several minutes to several days but has no trigger point and lacks the paroxysmal character of tic douloureux.

Big Cypress Swamp (sh)




Swamp region and national preserve, southern Florida, U.S. Covering 2,400 sq mi (6,200 sq km), the region merges into the swampy Everglades on the east.

It is dominated by cypress trees, and wildlife is abundant. The Seminole Indians have reservations in the area.
