<chemical> Dextro form of levorphanol. It acts as a noncompetitive nmda receptor antagonist, among Other effects, and has been proposed as a neuroprotective agent. It is also a metabolite of dextromethorphan.

Pharmacological action: excitatory amino acid antagonists, neuroprotective agents.
