A genetic skin disease characterised by hypoplasia of the dermis, herniations of fat, and hand anomalies. It is found exclusively in females and transmitted as an x-linked dominant trait.

A fold of peritoneum, containing the rectouterine muscle, passing from the sacrum to the base of the broad ligament on either side, forming the lateral boundary of the rectouterine (Douglas') pouch.

Synonym: plica rectouterina, Douglas' fold, Jarjavay's ligament, Petit's ligament, rectouterine fold, uterosacral ligament.
