<chemical> (3-((2-(carboxylatomethoxy)benzoyl)amino)-2-methoxypropyl)hydroxymercurate(1-) sodium. A toxic thiol mercury salt formerly used as a diuretic. It inhibits various biochemical functions, especially in mitochondria, and is used to study those functions.

Pharmacological action: diuretics, mercurial, enzyme inhibitors, sulfhydryl reagents.
