A mycosis affecting the skin, mucous membranes, lymph nodes, and internal organs. It is caused by paracoccidioides brasiliensis. It is also called paracoccidioidal granuloma.

<chemical> Alpha-methyl-4-(2-thienylcarbonyl)benzeneacetic acid. An ibuprofen-type anti-inflammatory analgesic and antipyretic. It inhibits prostaglandin synthesis and has been proposed as an anti-arthritic.

Pharmacological action: non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents, cyclooxygenase inhibitors.
