<chemical> Erythromycin, 9-(o-((2-methoxyethoxy)methyl)oxime). Semisynthetic derivative of erythromycin. It is concentrated by human phagocytes and is bioactive intracellularly. While the drug is active against a wide spectrum of pathogens, it is particularly effective in the treatment of respiratory and genital tract infections.

Pharmacological action: antibiotics, macrolide.

Chemical name: Erythromycin, 9-(O-((2-methoxyethoxy)methyl)oxime), (9E)-

A U-or W-shaped ridge at the base of the lingual surface of the crown of the upper incisors and cuspid teeth, the lateral limbs running for a short distance along the linguoproximal line angles, the central portion just above the gingiva.

Synonym: cingulum dentis, basal ridge, lingual lobe.
