An informal Dance in which participants form a line and perform jumping and kicking movements. Orig. US. M20.
Any leaping movement reminiscent of that made by a rabbit, spec.
a. a jump made in a crouched position;
b. a movement in figure-skating consisting of a leap made from one foot to the toe of the Other whilst gliding forwards, followed immediately by a return to the original foot. M20.
Cycling. A manoeuvre in which the bicycle is lifted from the ground with a jumping motion, esp. in order to clear an obstruction. L20.
