Crispy Goblin Chips (recipes)






Ingredients:



1/4cup sugar

1teaspoon ground cinnamon

1large sweet potato, cut into 1/16-inch slices

Vegetable oil









Preparation:





1.Combine sugar and cinnamon in small bowl; set aside. Cut out jack-o' -lantern faces from potato slices or cut potato slices into Halloween shapes using cookie cutters, if desired. Place oil in large deep skillet, filling about half way. Heat oil to 350°F on deep-fry thermometer. Carefully place potato slices in hot oil in single layer; fry 2 to 3 minutes or until golden and crispy. Remove from oil; drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture. Repeat with remaining potato slices.
