Ingredients



wholemeal flatbread or 3 mini wholemeal pitta breads3 tbsp good quality bottled tomato sauce1 courgette, finely sliced or large handful finely sliced mushrooms3 tbsp finely grated parmesan1 tbsp extra virgin olive oilsea saltfreshly ground black pepper1 tbsp fresh oregano leaves



Method



1. Preheat the oven to 240C/460/Gas 8.2. Spread the base of the flatbread with tomato sauce, top with courgette or mushrooms, sprinkle with parmesan and oregano, drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.3. Place pizzas on a preheated tray in the oven and cook for 10 minutes.4. Serve.

Clostridium novyi


A species consisting of three types, A, B, and C; type A, from a case of gaseous gangrene and from human necrotic hepatitis, produces gamma-toxin (a haemolytic lecithinase); B, from black disease (infectious necrotic hepatitis) of sheep, produces beta-toxin (a haemolytic lecithinase); and C, found in bacillary osteomyelitis of water buffaloes, does not produce toxin.

Synonym: Clostridium oedematiens.
