Yield: Makes enough to fill and frost 2 (8-inch) round or square cake layers or frost 1 (13X9-inch) cake
Ingredients:
1/2cup shortening
6cups sifted powdered sugar, divided
3tablespoons milk
2teaspoons clear vanilla extract
Additional milk*
Preparation:
1.Beat shortening in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until fluffy. Gradually beat in 3 cups sugar until well blended and smooth. Carefully beat in 3 tablespoons milk and vanilla. Gradually beat in remaining 3 cups sugar, adding more milk, 1 teaspoon at a time, as needed for good spreading consistency. Store in refrigerator.

Ingredients:
Burger Spread (recipe follows)
1-1/2pounds ground beef
2tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
2teaspoons onion powder
2teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1teaspoon garlic powder
1teaspoon salt
1teaspoon black pepper
4hamburger buns, split
Preparation:
1.Prepare Burger Spread; set aside.2.Spray grid with nonstick Cooking spray. Prepare grill for direct Cooking.3.Combine beef, parsley, onion powder, Worcestershire, garlic powder, salt and pepper in medium bowl; mix gently. Shape mixture into four 1/2-inch-thick patties.4.Place patties on grid. Grill, covered, over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes (or, uncovered, 13 to 15 minutes) to medium (160°F) or to desired doneness, turning halfway through grilling time.5.Remove burgers from grill. Serve burgers on buns with Burger Spread.
