Stir-Fried Sausage and Vegetables

Yield: Makes 4 to 6 servings



Ingredients:



2teaspoons vegetable oil

2cups broccoli florets

1cup red bell pepper strips

1cup sliced carrots

1to 2 cloves garlic, minced

1pound cooked turkey sausage, sliced

1can (8 ounces) sliced water chestnuts, drained

1/2cup teriyaki sauce

Hot cooked rice









Preparation:





1.Heat oil in wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add broccoli, pepper and carrots; stir-fry 2 to 3 minutes. Add garlic; stir-fry 1 to 2 minutes. Add sausage, water chestnuts and teriyaki sauce. Increase heat to high; cook until sausage is heated through. Serve over rice.
