Ingredients
1 tbsp sesame oil2 tbsp soy sauce1 tbsp honey½ tuna steak, very finely diced1 lime, juice only2 spring onions, very finely dicedhandful of coriander, choppedsalt and freshly ground black pepperFor the yam1 tbsp olive oil1/3 yam, peeled, diced 1 tomato, chopped1 tsp sesame oildash of soy sauce½ birds' eye chilli, very finely diced1 garlic clove, peeled and crushed
Method
1. Mix the oil, soy sauce and honey in a bowl to combine. Add the tuna, lime juice, spring onions, coriander and seasoning and mix together well. 2. Spoon the mixture into a chefs' ring on a serving plate and push down to compact. Remove the ring.3. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the yam for 4-5 minutes, until soft. Transfer to a bowl and mix with the tomato, sesame oil, soy sauce, chilli and garlic until combined. 4. Spoon the yam alongside the teriyaki tuna, to serve.
